Pink Cocktail Inspiration

We all know what a year 2020 was. One thing it brought me was a deeper love and understanding for cocktail technique and photography.

I think it’s important to find what cultivates your creativity and find space for yourself. It's the little things that are worth going that extra mile for... Don't you think?⠀

During lockdowns, I made cocktails. I am grateful for the extra moments those restrictions gave me, where I was able to read about techniques and endlessly played with lighting to find those magical moments.

This frosted grapefruit cocktail with a caramelised garnish is one of my favourite photos I've taken

One thing that has certainly surprised me is how much I like to use the colour pink in my photos.

Enjoy!

One Bowl Noodle Soup Series

I like to play with my food. Guilty as charged.

Soup is one of my favourite meals, so playing with my food to make it pretty is such a great learning experience.

At the end of last year, I told myself I would work on my noodle styling. Pasta, noodle bowls - you name it. Needless to say, we've been eating a lot of noodles since!

I love how you can create curving lines and interest with noodle soups.

If soup is a challenge for you, I encourage you to try out a 'wide and shallow bowl' so you can easily place your ingredients on a bed of noodles. Best part is you get to eat it afterwards.

When we are driven by the passion to seek out a skill or develop our interests, amazing things can happen.
