Whenever I have a lighting test, I like to shoot cakes, as it’s what I am good at. Any excuse to make cake right?
For this test, I need to test the colour and specular highlights on the raspberry coulis. Isn’t it just beautiful?
Once I was happy with the lighting, I added a few drips for the money shot. Drips always scream ‘eat me’ in food photography. It’s one of Instagram’s favourite shots.
